    THE POLITEIA INDEXED IN DOAJ

    The Politeia journal has been indexed by The Directory of Open Access Journals - DOAJ. In this way, the Politeia joined the family of 11.224 open access journals from 123 countries. The DOAJ statistics show more than 900 000 page views and 300 000 unique visitors a month to DOAJ from all over the world. Many aggregators, libraries and databases, including Scopus, Serial Solutions and EBSCO, on daily basis collect DOAJ's free metadata and include in their products. Today DOAJ has a reputation as a source of quality open access journals in research and scholarly publishing circles. We are sure that DOAJ will contribute to the visibility, quality and international status of the Politeia journal.

ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The Politeia is a multidisciplinary academic journal publishing scholarly papers in the fields of politics, international relations, Balkan studies, sociology, communications, media studies, political system, journalism, public relations, geopolitics, international security, law, history, cultural studies, social policy, social work, as well as texts from other fields in the domain of social sciences.

As the only academic journal in the domain of social sciences in the region of Southeast Europe to be registered in two countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, the Politeia aims at establishing relations between domestic, regional, and international academic circles.

In terms of its contents, the Politeia offers the OPEN ACCESS policy, making all the papers available for free to users and their institutions. Users are entitled to read, download, copy, distribute, print, browse or access full-length texts of the papers, as well as to use them for any legal purposes without previously asking for approval from the publisher or author, which is in line with the OPEN ACCESS policy.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

The instructions to authors about the article preparation for publication in the Politeia are based on the Rulebook for Publication of Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska ('Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska' no. 77/2017) and  the Act on Scientific Journal Editing of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, No 110-00-17/2009-01 of 9th July 2009. These Acts aim at improving the quality of national journals and raising the level of their compliance with the international system of scientific information exchange. They are based on international standards of ISO 4, ISO 8, ISO 18, ISO 215, ISO 214, ISO 18, ISO 690, ISO 690-2, ISO 999 and ISO 5122 respectively and their national equivalents.
